Abstract

The term technoscience is usually used without any criticism, only to point to all types of contemporary scientific production, even being used as a synonym for the science of the 21st century. In this paper we will define what technoscience is, what can be called technoscience and what not. As a product of the same analysis, we will obtain a vision of the social role that this phenomenon plays in our contemporary reality and, with it, a vision of the relationship between technoscience, our socio-cultural environment and power relations.
