Resumo

As empresas nascidas globais (BG's) actuam numa esfera local para responder a uma necessidade internacional, revolucionando as normas empresariais mundiais. Após a pandemia da COVID-19, desconhece-se a situação da investigação desta tipologia de empresas e a participação latino-americana. Este artigo apresenta uma revisão bibliométrica sobre empresas globais nascidas ou BG's e visa identificar aproximações a definições, autores, datas e tipos de publicação em bases de informação secundária. Foram realizadas pesquisas estruturadas em Scopus e Web of Science. Foi identificado um total de 6013 documentos entre 1991 e 2022 e 1184 publicações foram incluídas neste estudo, destacando-se países como os Estados Unidos, Inglaterra, Finlândia e Austrália, com baixa representação da Colômbia, Chile e México, principalmente em colaborações com Espanha. Os BG's mostram pouca divulgação da autoria latino-americana, pelo que é considerado importante propor modelos estruturados nos BG's que possam ser aplicados nesta região
